─── ❀ What happens after I send an Email for my Commission Inquiry?

1. Project Discussion
After receiving your Commission Inquiry through the Contact Form I'll thoroughly review your project details to assess how I can best assist you. Following that, I'll reach out with my current availability, giving a rough timeline of my work queue and inquire about your continued interest in the commission. At that stage I might ask you more about the project if I feel like I am missing certain details or information to providing a proper quote. If continued interest is confirmed, I will send you a contract and invoice outlining the terms and conditions. Once the quote pricing is confirmed by you, I will start your project with my discussed availability and work queue in mind.2. Project in Progress
This stage starts once I have started working on your project. My average estimated time to complete your commission ranges between 1-2 months in normal circumstances. If sudden circumstances or emergencies should hinder our discussed deadline/schedule I will let you know immediately. I will start the project with multiple sketch ideas, which we will discuss before moving on to the digitalization in Illustrator. During this stage, I will regularly provide you with progress updates and draft previews. Please let me know if you'd like any adjustments or changes during this stage. I cannot make any major adjustments without an extra revision fee once the commission has been finalized.3. Project in Progress
This stage is once the commission has been finalized and you have confirmed the completion of the project to your satisfaction. Please really take your time to review the project before your confirmation since there will be no revisions without an additional revision fee. If there should be a glitch, export mistake or quality of the product due to myself, I will of course fix and make adjustments for free of charge. Unless not selected or and a specified date to publicize the commission product, your commission is subject to be added to my portfolio on my social media accounts.

─── ❀ Can you Animate your Designs? Are you familiar with After Effects?

I am a Beginner in After Effects and can offer you so far only simple animations but I'm planning to improve my skills! If you'd give me the chance I'd love to give it a try :D

• ─── ✿ General

❀ The designer has the right to refuse any project/ commission request. Commissions will be open on a selective basis, and the creator will only accept projects within their interests and availability.❀ Upon payment, the client agrees to the terms of service and will receive a pdf copy❀ By default, the client gives full rights to the creator to use the commissioned products in their portfolio,the design process may be streamed live on twitch (twitch.tv/hanakokazashi) and as well as teased on social media except if mentioned or unchecked in the commission form. The client must notify the designer of any restrictions prior to any payment.❀ all projects are handled as digital goods, meaning no physical items will be shipped

• ─── ✿ Payment

❀ All payments are in EUR (€)❀ By default, payment is made through Stripe invoicing❀ Full payment should be made upfront. Invoice totals over 200€ can be paid 50% upfront, with the remaining 50% due before the delivery of any final files.

• ─── ✿ Refunds & Cancellations

❀ The designer has the right to cancel and refund the remaining amount of any project if it cannot be completed for any reason❀ The client is eligible for a full refund if chooses to cancel before the delivery of a first draft/ design preview❀ If the client chooses to cancel a project after the delivery of a first draft/ design preview no refunds will be issued unless deadlines or other requirements agreed upon by the designer and client are unable to be met

• ─── ✿ Process

❀ Deadlines, if desired, have to be communicated and agreed on with the designer prior to any payment. Tight deadline requests will incur an extra rush fee depending on availability❀ Unless specified, all design work is to be made as static, non-animated images. Animated design work may be available for some projects, and will incur additional costs.❀ Please include visual references and a good description for your commission and make sure that you have the proper rights of use for the assets that you plan to be using❀ A preview or draft of the first design of a project will be provided to the client to confirm the satisfaction of the visual direction. Subsequent design updates of the same visual direction are provided occasionally but can be requested at any point by the client. All designs will be confirmed as final before delivery❀ Small revisions keeping within the same visual direction are included with all projects but are encouraged to be kept concise. Larger or more extensive revisions may incur additional fees. This is to be assessed by the designer in each case.❀ By default, all project files are delivered to the client via email. It is then the client's responsibility to save and store any project files❀ Any additional work outside the initial project scope, including edits to already finalized/ confirmed designs, can be refused or will be quoted and charged accordingly

• ─── ✿ Copyright & Usage

❀ By default, the designer retains all rights to the designs and the client must use the designs for their intended purpose only.❀ The client must credit the designer by username (Hanako Kazashi), Twitter handle (@hanakokazashi), or website url (hanakokazashi.com) in the relevant places when the designs are shared or displayed publicly❀ The client does not have the right to repurpose, redistribute, or modify any of the design work unless communicated and agreed on with the designer prior to any payment❀ If the client purchases any editable project files (.psd, .ai, etc.), they will be able to modify the designs for themselves but still cannot repurpose or redistribute them unless communicated and agreed on with the designer prior to any payment. These extended rights can be refused or will be quoted and charged accordingly
